With our customers at the finish line of Stelvio Pass |
Where to rent a bike to climb the Stelvio Pass?
If you are a cyclist you are looking for something special to do in Italy during your city break we suggest to climb the Stelvio pass.
If you are not particularly trained we recommend climbing the stelvio starting from Bormio.
Bormio is a mountain village that is about 3 hours by car from Milan Malpensa airport, obviously in normal traffic conditions.
Other convenient airports to reach Bormio could be to Bergamo or Verona.
Our company can provide you quality carbon road bike rental with delivery and collection under appointment at airports (providing universal car rack to move the bikes by yourself everywhere during your holiday) or directly at your accommodation in Stelvio Pass area.

For those who are more trained and want to live a more extreme cycling it is suggested to climb the stelvio from Prato to the Stelvio. Obviously this solution is logistically more disadvantageous because this village requires more time to be reached by car.
Many of our customers love to climb the Stelvio in occasion of the Granfondo Stelvio Santini
San Lorenzo Hotel in Bormio |
Where to sleep in Bormio?
We have been renting our bicycles in Bormio for many years and we know many hotels.
For us one of the best is the Hotel San Lorenzo by Compagnoni family.
The San Lorenzo is one of the historic hotels in Bormio and is managed with all the care of Italian hospitality. This hotel have a gym room, a small spa and a storage, mechanic and wash bike room.
